The Spider Who Wanted to Tell Stories

Based on an Ashanti folk tale
Adapted & written by Chip Colquhoun
Illustrated by Mario Coelho

Before stories came to Earth, they were kept by the sky god Nyambe. The African spider Anansi really wanted to tell stories himself, and Nyambe agreed to give them to him – if he could complete three challenges. Anansi accepted – but how can a spider catch wasps, a snake, and a jaguar?!

This is one of the first stories ever told! Can you work out what Anansi could do to win the stories from Nyambe?
